Tonight I discovered a dead aubergine plant (a nice plant it was too) looked around the severed roots and there was Mr Moles run    That is 4 aubergine plants, a couple of toms and a geranium plant all dead to Mr Mole
I´ve re-set the mole trap, this time much deeper in the run. Fingers crossed I will get the  monster this time.  None of the neighbours have a mole problem and we´ve the smallest plot-  there is much more room to find tasty insects/grubs/worms in next doors garden, and there is a massive olive grove right next to our garden too. One day I will catch a mole, you will hear me cheer when I do.

Ive got to laugh at that vision!!

it dose not matter what run coz the smoke will smoke it out ive seen it reach 1 mile away. what happons is the smoke makes its way down the runs and as the mole smells with its nose it wont come back down that run

We were once in a local chemist and the pharmacist came to speak to us, his brother was selling a house and had the details of the house translated into english and he wanted us to check them............  the heating units he had were heating bombs we explained that a bomb in english was an explosive.  The air con units (with built in heaters) are bomba de calor.  The gas cannistors are bombona, our old neighbour asked for a bomba de butano  the lady laughed and told her they did not sell gas bombs.
There are quite a few words that just by changing the last letter changes the whole word- as it would- but sometimes it changes the first word to a naughty word   could be embarrassing at times.
Like saying hambre (hunger) and hombre (man) I told the neighbour I had much men instead of much hunger

There was a man at the vets last week with what looked like a ferret in a string bag- I should have asked him for some poo!
