I often see big blue barrels on sites.  Where do they come from?

thats a good question.
I think you can get them off of ebay, but there nust be some other place!!!
I used to work for a garden centre years ago that sold them, but I can't remember where they used to get them from :oops:

garages ? chemical merchants ? mine came from my mum shes 80 odd where she got it from I have no idea  :?:

Think a lot of haulage firms get their lorry wash soap delivered in them....;) also on ebay although I bought a huge olive container off ebay which is exactly same just a different colour :)

We get those here as well and I don't know where they originally come from either. A lot of rural shops carry them though. From somewhere, we now have 2 which I'll be painting brown to blend in with the yard. Paint for plastics seems to work well.

Most haulage firms have them for vehicle wash,they contain soap and are ideal water butts once rinsed out :) .
By cutting halfway across the top and just under the rim was able to make a lid with two metal hinges and self tapping screws,stops anything falling in, like small children,birds etc :lol:
If you put Blue Barrels into your search engine you may come up with a local supplier,It will cost though :!:

Catering places have foodstuff delivered in them. If you can get these there's less chance of it being contaminated.
