ive had my chickens nearly 4 weeks now and have had a egg a day of one of them but the others nothing at all, they are eating and drinking well and seem pretty livley  is this normal.

My exbatts laid like mad for a week but have slowed up now but im presuming its because its cold and a new enviroment etc.

Hope this helps a bit...you are not alone in egg hunting :lol:

I've got five hens and we got them in November.  They only started laying 2 weeks ago!  I think 3 are laying - two every day and one extra on two occasions.  There are 2 that still haven't started as far as I know.  They hopefully will all be laying soon but they just don't seem to be ready yet.

As the days get longer you will find that they will probably lay better.( I hope)
