Not strictly a veg question ...
« on: October 13, 2008, 12:21 »
... but if I have pots that contain dormat plants over winter, can I zap the blasted perennial geranium self seeded seedlings with weedkiller to get rid of them without harming the plants beneath??

Mainly the plants are hostas.

And hand weeding is keep the problem at bay, but only just!

I do that with the pots of daff bulbs & have encountered no problems!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Wellies actually said "dormat" not "doormat".

I didn't even notice the missing "n" until you mentioned it!
