ive been really chomping at the bit to grow something so on tues i ordered Solent Wight~2, Senshyu Yellow~250g , Electric~250g

i have nevr grown anything before so my qiestion is it cant be as simple as turn over teh bed abd plant,

do i need to put anything down such as blood fish and bone?

sorry if this is a stupid question

A bit early for onion and garlic yet I think, normally put mine in on bonfire night. Some rotted manure in the proposed bed won't hurt

As long as it is well rotted.

Our autumn onions and garlic are planted around mid October. Keep them somewhere cool and bright until you plant them though, not huddled in the packet. If there are any dodgy ones they could infect them all, and you don't want them to start shooting either
