A few questions
« on: March 03, 2008, 07:53 »
A quick visit to the lotty yesterday and found the wind has ravaged the place. Greenhouse has been smashed, rasberry fence clattered and a lot of litter all over the place. I never realised people threw so much rubbish on the floor. A sad sight indeed. But now for the questions!

When forcing rhubarb how long should the rhubarb get before you take the covers off, do you just get it started and then let it grow in the light?

Also, I got a loganberry plant recently. When it arrived it had some green buds/ shoots on it. I've planted it and now the green buds have gone brown and it looks more 'twiggy' than it did. Is this a normal reaction to the cold spells we have had or is it struggling? I followed the planting instructions to the letter so i'm hoping all is well.
