I have planted out peas that I have grown from seed at home in my allotment and have noticed that they have been nibbled.  It is not slugs or snails.  Could it be mice?

If it is nibbling to the leaves of your peas then it may be pea and bean weevil. I have had that on my peas this year but it seems to have gone now that they have grown bigger.
