SO i got given some White Lisbon spring onion seeds the other day but no guidance on the packet as to when i should them or where?? Help please!!

You can sow them direct anytime now, but here's what I do to get them off to a flyer.

Put a pinch of seed into each of 20 modules, germinate them in a cold frame or greenhouse. When about 4" high, harden them off and plant them out as a clump about 9" apart.

excellent many thanks...can i grow them in my tunnel?? just ive run out of space in my rasied beds in my garden

Never tried it, but don't see why not.

Spring onions are one of those crops that are a good filler, especially in clumps, if you have an odd space here or there.
