hi i am wanting to use some nettles and comfry to make my own liquid feed to use on the plot but i only have one spare water but would it be ok to use the same but to make a comfry/nettle tea or would i be best to wait till i get another water but and make them seperate? i dont want them to react or cancel each other out etc. thanks massa

From what I understand of both plants, you should be able to mix both in one container to make 'tea'. They both have fairly similar components so shouldn't cause problems with one another. The only warning would be to not apply it as a foliar spray too soon after 'cooking' as it could be too strong, but as a ground feed, it's fine. The strained sludge is a great compost heap activator.

Everything really but your beans and tomatoes will love it. Just dilute it from dark brown to more of a tea colour before watering into the soil. Also be aware that comfrey tea smells like a bomb has gone off in a pile of dirty nappies, so do not splash it around just before you're just about to eat your sandwiches!
