Hope this is in the right section.

I have sown some marigold seeds today to plant with my brassicas. Do you have any suggestions about what to plant with  veg for creepy crawly deterrants.

I use marigolds and nasturtiums among the veg and always plant onions and carrots in close proximity.

If you Google 'companion planting' you'll get loads of info.

I grow Nasturtiams (hope I've spelt that right) on my plot as the Cabbage White butterflys seem to love laying their eggs on them and I would rather the caterpillars tucked into them rather than my brassicas.
I've not got any scientific proof that it works,but it seems to work for me.

I love nasturtiums.. I'm not allowed to grow them any more because they get so big. My hubby actually confiscated my seeds from me. I admit I probably went a tiny, tiny bit overboard, but they are sooo pretty. And edible! Although the blackfly should probably be avoided.
