I have had plenty ripen and I have been picking and eating them but they are quite sharp and sometimes metallic tasting.

That's a shame. Ours have been lovely. I've plonked the lot into a container with an air-tight lid after adding a shake of sugar then put the container in the fridge. Helps keep them for several days and the juice is wonderful!!

did simalar post yesterday some of mine are going brown on top but there are some god ones
