Anyone used orange or creeping thyme for cooking?

I planted a load of both in one of my beds, more as a nice smelling ground cover and weed suppressant than anything else. Does anyone know what these herbs are like in cooking? Can they be substituted for normal thyme or are they used differently or just not very useful in cooking?

I have used orange thyme before in Greece - it really is quite citrussy in flavour. They make lemon roast potatoes and I used the orange thyme in that,  on pork chops is good, and when baking fish in foil  ;)

I've only used lemon thyme but I was amazed at just how lemony it is! Very nice it is too and thanks for the tip about the roasties Mum!  :tongue2:

Ooh, this sounds like an idea!  Well, several in fact.  I have lemon thyme in my herb patch, so will definitely give these a go  :)
