hi, do i remove the suckers from my chilli plant the same as my toms?

Not sure that massa means "suckers", more "side shoots".

Suckers are a shoot thrown up away from the main plant.

I'll let a chilli expert answer the question though. The ones I've grown, I've just left to their own devices.

i think it may be the side shoots i mean, the one that grow between the main stem and shoots.

I would rather leave them to bush out. you will get 3 or max 4 chillis from one head. More heads more chillis I assume

I pinch out the growing tips on my chilis to encourage more side shoots

Last year I grew two cayenne peppers side by side in a trough. One I pinched out, the other I left. Couldn't tell the difference in the end, they were both enormous (for a bedroom windowsill anyway!)
