Got loads done in the garden today!

Dug over all the beds

Planted Garlic, Onion Sets, Gooseberry Bush and Blackberry Bush

Filled our new composter and made the frames for the peas!

Back to horrible work tomorrow

No sun round our way - rained like nobodies business this morning but did stop long enough this afternoon to sort out the strawberries that arrived 2 weeks ago bare rooted - I'd stuffed them all in the same pot to keep them alive so had fun sorting them out and spreading them between several pots to sit on the patio!

It stayed dry long enough yesterday to get the raspberries that also came bare rooted out of pots and into the allotment - have to see how they do 'cos the soil was a bit clay like!

Good for you triage,my plot is still to wet work on been up today but no go hope for better weather this week so i can make start next weekend :cry:

My lottie is very light soil and if we get no rain this week it will be ok for the weekend. By the way Shaun saw your pic's of your lottie VERY IMPRESIVE.

wasnt very impressive this morning clive when i took the tripe hound for a walk there was a gaggle of geese a heron 20 ducks and 2 coots looking for a bit of dry land
