eglu grub and glug food/water pots
« on: August 08, 2009, 15:59 »
I've been looking at the eglu grub and glug food and water dispensers because they clip up on the run but we aren't getting an eglu, I see on the omlet website that several people have bought them without and eglu and they fitted but I wondered if anyone could tell me how they clip on?  I like the idea of them because they can't get knocked over.

Do they clip on sort of like a belt clip?  And can anyone tell me how wide the clip bits are if this is how they work?

Thank you.

they have a plastic lip at the back - very strong and just sits nicely on the wire.

Be warned....it won't fit onto the normal fox-proof mesh....the omlet run is made of green mesh with larger slots!

That's true and they don't fit on the mesh that my run is made of but I have addesd some mesh to the inside of the run for the feeders to hang on.  I was the mesh from one of those 3/4 tier poly houses.
