My seed garlic has only arrived today.
Is next week too late to plant it?
It is the hard neck music variety.

No, not too late. Anytime up until end of November is good.

I got the Garlic as a whole and split it into cloves.

Then I planted them with the Japanese Onions.

Some of the garlic clove skins came, but it should be okay.

For your information my friend who works at the 'Garlic Farm' here on the Island where a few of you my have purchased your garlic from, they are only just begining to plant.

Further info on the keeping in fridge bit - I have some garlic from the Isle of wight garlic farm and on the packets it says store somewhere cool, but not in the fridge
