I'm keen to have a few potatoes and a few strawbs before the real season begins, so i'm doing some potatoes in tubs in the greenhouse and a couple of strawberry plants in the greenhouse border.

What fruit/veg, do you like to try and get a headstart with...and how??

And sprouts, carrots, PSB & WSB, celeriac & beetroot, (for others  :puker:)  as well as the stored/frozen stuff.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Sprouts, parsnips and leeks fresh. Potatoes, garlic, shallots, chilli peppers stored. And that much frozen veg that I can't even remember! But certainly sweetcorn, runner beans, french beans, cabbage, beetroot, sweet peppers, carrots, carrot and parsnip mash, turnips, carrot and turnip mash. Various "stew bags" including parsnip, swede, carrot, turnip etc. cubed. We've run out of peas though!

Will be sowing some salad leaves on the windowsill this month - am blessed with a large conservatory, so should really have been keeping them going all year round.  Unfortunately have got a lot of junk in conservatory, so need to do a big clear out!  Also going to get some herbs started.
