The proporgator runs @ 30c, humidity no probs, I could put a top bulb over to raise the last few c's. Would this be a crude working model? Thoughts please.

Look at the thermostat in the propagator and see if you can get at the thermistor (the component that switches off the circuit when temp is at desired level).  If you can, you may be able to change it for a higher rated one - about 70p - this will give you higher temp for incubation.

alternatively, look on maplins website, they hae a kit thermostat that you can change the thermistor very easily, and it's only a fiver.  Wire some bulbs or heating elements to it, put them in a box with insulation and air holes, and hey presto, an incubator!
