Hiya!!
Our autumn planted onions (Radar) are all flopping over and one of our varieties of garlic (Provence Wight) are very yellowed so I think theyre ready to come up. The garlic has got rust really badly and the onions have a little bit and I was wondering how I will store them, if they will store at all. Last year our onions were rust free and we dried them for a couple of weeks and then I platted them in strings to hang in the shed, which worked really well. Can I do that this year or do I need to strip all the rusty leaves off? how else can I store them?

Thanks

I seem to think that rust isn't a big problem with onions but someone else on here will no doubt help with this. I don't think it affects their storing capabilities.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
