When the cobs mature that's a different problem!

nothing touched my sweetcorm last year this year lost 5 plants already :ohmy: to what I can only guess as I had one stump left but the other  four vanished not a trace! the rest are untouched so far touch wood and all that - think I may go up tonight and net just to make sure :)

I netted mine when they first went in because the first night they were outside one got eaten down to a stump.  When they reached a couple of feet high I took the nets off and they have been ok for the last month or so.

Think I will try and risk it ..... until the cobs start to be eaten then might change my mind!!

Pheasants strip our ripening cobs. I just put 4' netting around the outside of the block & it's worked so far.
