mines not netted either , does it need to be never thought it would need it?
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

mine is currently rabbit proofed and will be covered when its getting ripe becoz rats strip it on our site and I like corn too much to give it away to rats! (or rabbits).  haven't had a problem with pidgeons tho they did decimate the first lot of peas I put in.

I totally disagree.

Mine does need netting, got stripped a couple of years ago by unidentified wildlife.

You may get lucky, but I'm playing it safe.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

HA HA HA.....it's not just nets... its getting canes in that are long enough when you're a short ar**  But seriously it can't be easy if you've got a big block of corn to cover it all ....and cost a fortune  6ft up 4ft across 6 ft down tother side ..so 16ft wide net by however long your bed is  think i'll take me chances and see what happens :)
