Garlic

My Solent Wight Garlic arrived today. Is it ok to plant it now.
We haven't had a frost yet.  Sometimes we never get one in a whole Winter.
Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.

I drove past the Garlic Farm this morning at 8 am and there were a lot of Michelin type men bent over  in the field 'doing' something so I agree that if they are doing it here (where it comes from) then 'get it in'.

Hi All I got my solent white too from the garlic farm. Very impressed, they threw in 2 free cloves. OK it's late in the season but I thought it was a nice touch. Have promised myself I'll get them in tomorrow.
