I sowed 2 dozen treated kernels into 3 inch pots because I understand they hate root disturbance.  I staggered the planting and all but one has germinated.  The first batch were planted out a fortnight ago, when they were about 8 inches high, very carefully, and they look great.  They were started in a heated greenhouse, pots covered with a sheet of glass and germinated in 8 days.  I have really treated them with kid gloves and so far it has paid off.
