Would it be a place to grow a few low growing herbs? Thymes in various colours, you can get green and golden leaved marjoram and there is a white and green variegated oregano called Country Cream. There is also a creeping form of rosemary, but it gets very big, so would need to be somewhere you could get at it to prune, or maybe grown in a pot sunk into the slope.
The mix of low growing foliage in different shades would be attractive and useful to you in the kitchen, the bees would love the flowers and it ties in with the productive theme of that bit of the garden.
