Ok I know I've spammed my own thread BUT!
FAB news!!
I'm getting three tonnes of http://www.onlinesoil.co.uk/shopping-cart/ THIS for £86-ish!
Fab, I spoke to them on the phone and was assured it's got the top soil/compost ratio mix i need and I can mulch away to my hearts content when I've got it in! Hasn't half taken the hassle out of working out what to get from where to have good stuff at not insane prices!

:) Thanks to everyone for the help! Now if my cousin would just turn up to help me dig! :)

I hope the quality is what you wanted. Are they going to dump it on a path or bring it in those big builder's bags? If the latter, see if you can keep them (or one) as they are so useful for putting shreddings or autumn leaves in, or used as a compost bin if you fold the top over and weight it down. Good luck anyway - pics needed before and after!  :)
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Oh! And!!! My cousin came and finally laid the stones! and when we looked at the soil, i just need one bag as the underneath soil it actually really good, i just need to get a sieve and get the stones out :)

Figuring out how to put pics up now :) (Using the diary thingy)
