My baclrock has been sittin on nothing for hours every day until i lift her out and close up the coop, but is still laying. I've just been out to move her again, thinking she must of layed by now. 1 of my other hens has gone in the coop and been attacked my Wilma (blackrock) her head and come are a mess, Blood everywhere.
What do i do? Purple spray (put on with a cotton bud) or something else. Do i need to seperate attacked hen (got no empty coops)
Why does wilma keep chasing everything else out the coop?

If you remove her she will only be beaten up again when you put her back. It is very hard to do nothing but i would put some purple spray on and leave her. I once removed a girl that was beaten up by the others and she had to live the rest of her life seperated from the others.

Sounds like Wilma is broody and taking the job seriously by defending the nest. If she is in the favourite nestbox she needs to be moved out to stop the fighting.

This isnt the first time Wilma has been broody but last time it was a lot easier to break,
I think i might end up breaking before she does and get her some eggs or babies.
She is attacking everything in sight now i've shut her out of the coop.
