My two strippy aub plants are doing great too, I think we've had about 10 fruits so far and there are atleast 6 more half grown. The variety is Calliope.

I've been trying to grow Bonica outdoors - it sure is a labour of love but FINALLY they have set fruit - about two per plant. Tiny but reassuringly purple and aubergine-like! Have been working away this week so I am looking forward to seeing what the London sun and rain has done this week. If the ya are growing I will post. If not I will sulk and pretend I never grew them. It does seem that I am pushing it to get big fruit now that it is almost September.

First time on aubergines (along with everything else). Grown to about 2 foot in the green house, loads of very pretty flowers and I reckon five or six have fruited, ones onto about 3/4 inch and the plants still flowering - even here in breezy bradford!! Might be beginners luck?! Im hoping a mild september might see some of them mature....??
