Best veg plant food

I think I have all the ingredient's for comfrey tea.
I have the comfrey plants and a water butt with a lid and a plastic tap at the bottom.
How do I stop the leaves of the plant clogging the outlet to the tap?

I think you're right

but there's no reason not to use their poo, a bit hard to get much quantity though. Probably needs to be rotted first though, same as chicken poo.

taps are no good cus they block up your best just scooping it out with your watering can
