I would go for a FG110 for a allotment or FF500 if you feel affluent :D    :D

It says the FG110 has a working width max 210mm.  and my plot's 120ft long - how long would it take to turn over?  Or have I missed something? :?:

Mine is nearly an acre and although I have a reasonable choice of cultivators I use the little howard 200 (with a honda engine) the most. After all, on size of plot to machine size, most rotavators are bigger compared to the plot than most farmers tractor/field ratios. And you do not have to be Arnie to operate the FG110. Also it will do between the rows during the production season. Sounds great for a winow box garden 120 foot long to me.
always have a target
and an objective.

thats a shame geek,i'm sure it will be fixable though, there not the easiest machine to do a different engine swap,
feed the soil not the plants
organicish
you learn gardening by making mistakes

Window box! How very dare you!

I like the idea of your field/rotovator ratio, but does that mean your spade would have to be bigger than my spade?

Are you talking to me?
My oh's a handy ex-aircraft fitter and will tackle anything, also have several boaty brothers.  Not a land-lubber among us though, but we could have a go - or is this a private conversation between you and shaun? :)
