i thought there are 180 twins and 360 i could be wrong its been known.
i could of been miss informed, dont now that much about them just that
it would pee people off on the site .we have had letters to remove the
escavators if we dont intend useing them
hi geek youy right about your two beuties they are definately either a 180 or a 360 twin. could even be one of each. best way to tell which , is remove plugs and use two thin sticks to feel the top of the pistons.turn the engine slowly and if both pistons stay level with each other as they move its a 360 if not its a 180. hope this helps.
If it wasn't for chemicals we'd be organic.

philskin just copy the link.  I think there's details of how to post pics in the welcome pages.  You need to have the pics on an external website thingy.

I recently bought a new house with a quite big garden, 65x20 feet, mostly weeds.
I'm hoping to put in a few vegetable plots scattered around and after spending an afternoon with a spade, feel powertools will do the job much better.
Does anyone have any experience or comments on the following tiller?

https://secure.metronet.co.uk/mowerland/mowerland/pd1169714054.htm?categoryId=1

Essentialy it was the cheapest I could find, I have no intentions, yet, of turning my entire garden over to vegetables so dont want to spend a huge amount on it, but also dont want to waste my money on a tool that doesnt work.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

I think it would be better to hire it looks a bit weak to take on clearing a garden.

I bought a Honda fg110 from a company in Scotland called West Skelston,£285 delivered inc vat.Excellent service and a quality tool.My plot is 250 sq mts divided into 4 raised beds, with permanent paths in between. This type of cutivator weighs only 13kg,and is perfect for raised beds.Since i bought mine(dec 06) two other plotholders have bought the same, they do not have raised beds. :D

Sounds good.  Does its light weight mean it's going to dig less thoroughly though?   I'd like to hear how you get on with it. :D

Had a look at renting, but orderd this one, I get to do it over whatever I time I specify, its a risk, but its not a great some of money.

Should be here early next week So I'll let you know how it goes.
Wouldnt have thought weight would be an issue, I might just have to push down a bit harder
