Don't forget Ed will be using it too, so it'll have to be manly enough for him.   Come to think of it it probably looks more manly to use a spade.  Spesh when they have to take their shirts off.

You know in the garden centres you sometimes get toolsets for girls and they've got flowery handles and moste women buy them so they can hammer a nail in when they want to without having to rummage round a shed or other disorganised receptacle of their husbands tools and they know their husbands will never use the flowery one so it will always be left in its place and so they can therefore hammer a nail in without hindrance?

Kath Kidston = flowery.

The longer the axel, the more stable the rotavator is.  If I run mine with 6 tines (rows of teeth), it bounces about a bit over rocks, with 8 it's much easier/safer.

If you're after a manly machine, get a diesel one - that's the fuel, not the designer brand.  They cost more, but you can offset it against not needing that gym membership any more.

i have a diesel howard gem, by the time ive cranked it over
im in no fit state to use it,get a girly mantis its for the besr :wink:
