I am sure using Shaun's whack it, and weld it, technique it could be grafted onto the hitch of many machines

Oh dear   They are rare but keep watching one will come up again.
Depending on your fabriction skills it should be possable to convert a old horse drawn plough.

I would be fairly cofident of joining a plough to my BCS( even if I had to call on a friend for a weld or 2. But I have no knowledge of plough design. In forming a join how does one decide the appropriate height or angle that the plough must adopt?

just get the heel at 90 degrees to the land and then you might have to weld extensions for the depth

easy

I've just won a Potato Ridger/Plough from Ebay which said it had been 'made to fit' a Merrytiller, so it'll now be made to fit a Flymo DM, with a bit of bracketry and a couple of bolts. I will see if it's possible to actually plugh with it, I suspect not but it'll still come in handy for turning over rotavated soil :D
Blimey! You mean you can *grow* things in soil?
