Hi there chesh

A few questions for you first:

[list=1]
  • How old are the chooks.
  • Is it only one which is doing this
  • Is her crop bloated and squishy in the morning before she has eaten anything
  • Does she have smelly breath
  • Does she have any breathing problems or rattley noise
  • Is her comb (if she has one yet) tinged blue
  • Have you looked down her throat to see if she has anything stuck of if there are any "foreign objects"  down there [/list:o]

    Sorry there are so many questions but their answers will help us to give you some advice

Doesn't sound like sour crop.  So it could either be her trying swallow something.  A bit of stuck grass or leaf is my opinion bit it could just possibly be gape worm (I don't think it is though), which would need treating with flubenvet wormer.

Keep an eye on her and if she keeps doing it over a couple of days come back ald tell us  :!:
