Elder cordial recipes wanted
« on: October 04, 2007, 13:08 »
I know its the wrong time of year but I just happened to be thinking about it.

Earlier this year we tried two different recipes - one with not much sugar that tasted fab but didn't last - and one with loads of sugar that we still have but is of course very sweet.

Anyone got a good compromise or variations that might be useful?

If elderberry, they are still about, but have not tried yet, but have few recipes.

Thanks for the recipe.

Just googled elderflower cordial - the suggestion is to freeze it to preserve it longer! Of course...!
We can make the less sugar recipe and bung it all in the freezer to keep. Genius - sometimes the
