I grew Cara as a main crop last year and they were awesome.  Big crop and BIG spuds. Some were size of a mango.  Great taste and good allrounders - made great roasties for Christmas dinner. I have gone back for more this year.

I also grew Pentlands and they were good too. I have gone for rocket like yourself this year.

I was very happy with my Cara last year. Got a dose of blight and had to cut them back in Sept, but still managed to get some big bakers.

Lasted up until a couple of weeks ago.

Good roasties and mash.

Cara has v tall foliage which some folk don't like as it looks untidy so an improved Cara is Picasso, apparently. I've grown both and they are lovely spuds  :)

grew both cara and picasso, on my plot the picasso were by far the best, bigger spuds, bigger crop and biggerr flavour.
