white current survivors!

Last November as I was clearing part of my plot, I dug up 4 white current bushes with the intention of replanting them, but I forgot!  :( Today, I found them again, lying bare-rooted on a patch of grass at the back of my plot. And they are still alive despite almost 2 months of continuous frost!

Amazing!  :)
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

Shrubs are more resilient than people think. Plant them and enjoy the fruit.

I find the whites the sweetest, and if I'm sure on black currants for jam or whatever, I make up the difference with whites.
