Ok i am the most impatient person ever i set 6 pekin eggs in the incubator very early on sat morning when is the earliest i can safely candle them, the wait is killing me

I candeled mine on day 8 for the first time. I could clearly see the developing chick moving about and it was magic! Try and wait if you can as the eggs can be damaged if handled too often.

I was the chargehand in Bowyers "Egg boiling plant" for a couple of years.  We boiled and shelled about as many eggs as you could cram into THREE typical garages per DAY.

For the health and safety checks, I had to candle six eggs :blink: every half hour (not the same eggs of course),      thankfully never in all that time saw anything wriggle !

that was facinating thank you joyful, this is my first time and the eggs are from ebay so i'm trying not to be too hopeful  but i'm very excited
