We've been to the Garlic Festival today where if you were in a sheltered spot it was lovely, down the aisles between the stalls it was really windy, and a cold wind at that!  Warning, there is a new garlic available, their hottest one yet!  I forget the name in detail at the moment, begins with an 'L', Laugberg, of something similar. They were also pushing the 'black garlic' which is heat treated over time and is recommended to be added to sweet things.  I didn't try the black garlic ice cream or beer!

Lovely looking day today - bright sunshine for the most part but a cold wind and it was gusty. Not good on my eye (had a cataract done Tuesday). Took refuge in the polytunnel but some pollen in there was making my eyes itch and rubbing is not recommended. Gave in and returned indoors.

It was down to 8.5C in the greenhouse last night, heavy dew outside and 14C now. It looks like it will be a lovely day - but there's loads of condensation in the greenhouse to dry off when the sun gets to it.
Don't think the peppers are liking that much, and time to strip all the bottom foliage of the tom plants.

Coming back from town this afternoon it was 28 degrees, so rather hot but theree's a little breeze just helping to make things feel a bit fresher.

A gorgeous day from start to finish. Bit too warm though - especially as I decided the greenhouse had to be sorted. The sunset was lovely - sun sinking  into a bank of cloud over the sea.

So far so good. Its 08:00 and the forecast for today is mostly sunny with a top of 16 degrees C.
No clouds in the sky at the moment and the temp is 9 degrees C. Looks like the weather bureau might have got it right. Can't wait for the weather to really warm up. 7 days till spring. (does little snoopy dance  )

Thick sea mist first thing, couldn't see the end of the garden.  Now the last of it is drifting across.  Usually a sign for a good day.  Need to mow the lawn as it has finally dried out.

El scorching, el scorchio, A’s was yesterday, far too hot for me outside so I’m doing some tidying & cleaning inside plus finishing a batch of runner bean chutney that I started on Friday

It was warm enough but not scorchio here
Light overcast with mist creeping in from the coast and back out again. After near 10 years in Snowdonia we're not used to really hot temperatures .. wonder why?

Too hot to do what needs doing on the plots. Oh well.

Just got home from the plot soaked through! Glad I didn't water yesterday, took a gamble on how much rain we were going to get today
