Like I say never seen this before  :?

Bad pic but my phone don't do so good close up!

they are pentland javelin so they should be white and waxy, not pinky purple, but I got two like this any ideas ?

Never had a spud quite like that before. Have the odd one from supermarkets that have had similar marking inside, but never changed colour of spud.  

I don't know enough about spud probs to help though Richy, sorry.

You're right, the pic isn't great, but from what I can see it looks like the potato got pollinated by a grapefruit. Is the centre bit hollow?

It will be 3 years before they come back to that spot on my crop rotation plan. So I won't worry to much, plenty of lime in the winter may help

Richy I knew that you would have proper rotation,but we have to give advice to those people who log in for information and answers.  They may be unaware that it is important not to grow potatoes in that soil for so long. :lol:

So far I've had pigeon swarms, bolting brassicas weird spuds, rampaging bindweed  (and I didn't see any last year).foxes ripping up the fleece.

Ohh this is weird a pigeon has just fell down my chimney it's banging about behind the fire  :?  :roll:  I kid you not!
