My Daughter has acquired some antibiotics from the chicken farm where she works so hopefully it does the trick I have been putting a bowl of porridge in the run each morning which is empty by the afternoon so hope this is helping things  ;)

I had 2 hens with the same symptoms after using flubenvet but they was ok after 3 days, not eating but drinking, puffed up and not interacting,i thought maybe it was the wormer even thou it was a few days after theyd finished the seven day course when they took poorly.I gave them yougurt and also a few mls of olive oil via a shringe just incase it might of been a crop problem, like you i was worried id loose them :(
Glad shes on the mend for you  ;)
Im going to take what your vet said about bacterial infection on board and note what happens when mine are wormed next time with flubenvet x

It was her second worming - i worm them ever 3 months as they have full range of the garden & many wild birds visit us.

She hasn't laid since, so wonder if it was her way of dealing with coming out of lay?

Not laying may just be the time of the year, quite normal. When you worm or give antibiotics it can interfere with their gut flora (not sure if that is the right term?). a small dose of live yogurt can help to rectify this. :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!
