I've referenced Dr Peter Lewis on this site in the past. He was an academic with a long-standing professional interest in poultry lighting, who co-authored the definitive book on the subject.

He sadly passed away last week.

He was a devout Christian, generous philanthropist, and loving family man who will be missed by his family, friends and acquaintances. I value the brief time that I spent with him some years ago now, and knew him affectionately as, 'Mr Chicken Man'. My deepest condolences are with his family.
