all revved up and no place to grow
« on: February 25, 2007, 15:26 »
Hi all

here is a few pics of my rotovator.  I paid £75.00 for her had not been started for two years when the previous owner gave up lotty.  replaced spark plug removed tank and flushed out old petrol,  cleaned air filter with 2 stoke, replaced engine  oil, sprayed all moving parts with wd40. pulled the cord a few times and off she went. :D  :D  :D  my little heart was racing  so it runs well.

the sad part is i have not got the lotty yet and have nowhere to play with it

my neighbour says that it should have guards above the tines :?

cheers

great job!
thats a very standard briggs engine on there, so parts will be no problem at all.
could you not put up a really big window box to try her out?

Please feel free to come and help us in Whitley Bay!!  We're not that far away and thinking about getting a rotovator for our allotment which is 130ft x 90ft.  It would be good to see how they work and whether it is worth us spending the money.  Watching several on ebay at the moment but they are mostly over £100 or too far away to pick up!
