I have a welsummer and orpington cockerel 9 hens my hens are orpington hens are virtually bald where the cockerals tread them is there anythink i can do to help ease the problem I really feel for my girls it looks sore thanks for any advice

Apparently you can get saddles for them to protect their backs a bit while the males are very amorous.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Will have to do something the cockerals have obvious favorites the orpingtons come off the worst presuming softer feathers thanks
