It's a climbing french bean, and will reach 8 ft,if you get them right they are really heavy cropping.

Do they have same taste as ordinary French beans? Was looking at our rows of dxarf F. beans this afternoon, and thinking how much space they take up, compared to runners.

Yes, they taste normal  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I have 15 plants growing on a 'mini Munty' in our garden, barely 6ft high, and we are picking about a large hand full every day. More than enough for us, plus the runners are producing quite heavily now too. 8)

Next year will definitely do climbers. Be a lot less bending as well.
Do you keep your Munty thingy in the same place each year, or shift it around?

It's on a 4 bed rotation, about 4ft sq.

(Taken back in June, when the weather was fine, Do you remember?  ::))

String for the beans, netting is for the cucumbers. ;)

Nope, that's the local pigeon poacher!

My cobra beans are doing amazingly too but I wish I had realised they were not a dwarf variety -  I would be spending less time on my hand and knees fumbling around in the foliage :)
