Beetroot 2nd batch

Beetroot 2nd batch

Hello everyone
I have planted some beetroot in my small garden, they seem to be doing well, when I have harvested them is it ok to plant some more in the same spot? I know you are supposed to rotate but is that just a yearly thing or is it a definite no no at anytime.

I don't see why not.  Add a little fertiliser when you take the first lot out.

I agree with Gillie, as it's when you plant year after  year in the same spot that it becomes a problem. You can put more beets in the same spot this year but next year you'll want to shift them elsewhere in your annual rotation.

That is really helpful as my space is so limited but I will make sure they go in a different spot next year.
