what prog is Christine on?  I read her pages in 'Amateur Gardening' mag but all it says is that she has her own show.

When is it on?

I can't remember what prog I saw her on .. it was on uk tv gardens and was looking at her and her neighbours, what they grew etc as well as her doing talks at various gardening clubs. She was refreshing to watch ... no airs & graces for the camera, just down to earth and genuine  :)

Alan every time. When he was presenting it, I wanted to go straight out and do some gardening as soon as the prog was finished - even if it was dark!! I think having a TV garden rather than someone's own garden is a problem too. It feels a bit sterile.
Alys - don't know how we got started on this but my DH and I fall about because we've got the idea that she lives in the Berryfields garden eating all the slugs and snails like a big woman-frog.  Yes we are that short of fun during GW now....
I think it's the shape of those glasses.
S.i.t.g.

The programme from the NEC was funny as they were all dressed up. And Alys had her posh specs on. Quite surreal.
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.

Totaly dumbed down, and we do not watch any more. It needs to be in some ones garden as it was with Percy, Geoff and Alan. It was a great format that the BBC has ruined. Its now gardening by committee, rubbish.

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

Did anybody see that series that Carol Klein did called 'Grow your own veg'?

Just watched the first one and was a bit disappointed.
