Hi All
I take charge of 6 POL hens on the 7th April ,built the shed (6'x8') run 10x 6  yards   but its my first time keeping poulty   and Im looking for some tips on husbandry :?: also I've raised the shed 2 foot off the ground on stilts this too high :?

hello Gary -make sure that the henhouse is securely attached to the base!
otherwise.....this is one we built on stilts after a rather windy night!!!   (If you look carefully you can see the house is upside down -poor chooks!!)

Fully agree with Foxy one of ours went over in the strong winds last week. It 8is noe battened firmly down. Luckily there were no hens in at the time.

Thanks for that info ,Im sure its secure as it battled against the last attact of wind, but Ill take no chances and bolt it down
