Just an update on my injured chicken (Fox Attack) decided to give her electrolite mixture by syringe and it worked wonders so much better - obviously a way to go yet but we took her out last night and although she limps she managed to get down some steps and we lifted her up to her favourite watering place and she had a good drink - and wait for this out at six this morning with brolly over the pair of us letting her have another drink came back in and ate some corn with meal worms - just hope this continues - she is even now preening herself.  Thanks to everyone for their advice and help.
