at the front of b&q there are 70 litre bags for £4.48

the difference ?  the bags at the front have '25 % extra free' on the top section

That sounds like typical B&Q to me.
Some years ago I had the misfortune to buy a greenhouse from them - yes I know I was young and mis-guided.  Anyway, only AFTER paying for it they told me that they had none in stock and that I would have to wait EIGHT WEEKS for it.  When it did arrive - glass was broken, so had to re-order. Grrrr

Lots of sticks and woody bits in this year's B & Q peat free.    Personally don't mind launching a few bits out of the greenhouse door if it saves the peaty habitats but some people might complain!
