morning everyone  just a quick one who grows flowers on their plot and what

We grew Sunflowers, Gladioli, Sweet Peas, Statice and daffodils. All of which are intended to be cut and put throughout the house (but also make the plot look better and attract insects). The Sweetpeas add great colour and scent through summer, the Sunflowers/Gladioli into Autumn and the Statice can be dried to last all through winter, then we get the Daffodils, the cycle starts again. Its quite possibly the most cost saving part of the allotment, given the cost of cut flowers in the shops, plus think about the "flower miles" we've saved! Many of the flowers are grown in heated green houses or imported from Africa.
Next year we will be adding Dahlias too.....

I'd be interested to know what people grow as cut flowers in late spring, early summer?

Nothing yet, but I do have many packets of seeds ready to plant up next year. Can't for the life of me remember what I bought at the moment
